It is reported by UNIAN with reference to the permanent mission of the fund in Kiev.

“The IMF mission began its work in Kiev according to the plan,” the organization said.

It is noted that the mission will continue discussions with the Ukrainian authorities regarding the new program with the support of the IMF.

Earlier, Ukrainian Prime Minister Alexei Goncharuk said that Kiev continues to negotiate with the fund regarding a new program.

Politician, a former adviser to the ex-president of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma, Oleg Soskin, in an interview with the NSN, suggested that in the near future the cooling of US-Ukrainian relations is expected, which will lead to the fact that the IMF will refuse to give Ukraine money.
