England, who needed only a draw, composted their ticket for Euro-2020 by crushing home Montenegro (7-0) including a ruthless Harry Kane, Thursday.

For the 1000th match in its history, the selection led by Gareth Southgate, semifinalist of the last World Cup, offered a beautiful fireworks at the expense of men Faruk Hadzibegic.

This success crowns a qualifying campaign not yet completed but conducted with seriousness, like the 21 goals scored in the last 5 matches at Wembley, while relying on a very young group.

At kickoff, central defender Harry Maguire was the dean with his 26 years and eight months.

Orphaned by his stars Stevan Jovetic (AS Monaco) and Stefan Savic (Atletico Madrid), Montenegro was logically overwhelmed by the English, already 5-1 winners in Podgorica in March, and suffered the worst defeat of his young life, started in 2007.

As expected, Southgate has voluntarily denied the kickoff of Manchester City striker, Raheem Sterling, after his altercation with Liverpool defender Joe Gomez, not tenured either.

Borussia Dortmund prodigy Jadon Sancho has replaced Sterling rather discreetly.

Nicely found by a diagonal Ben Chilwell, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain opened the scoring in the 11th minute, his seventh goal in 34 selections.

Liverpool midfielder, seriously injured in the knee in 2018, has signed in the best manner his return after 19 months without tenure with the "Three Lions".

In the 18th minute, the inevitable Harry Kane then doubled the setting of the head, on receipt of a Chilwell free kick.

The same Chilwell, on corner, allowed Kane, left almost alone in the mark, to make the note six minutes later.

Goaltender Jordan Pickford made a name for himself in the first period as the Montenegrin defense continued to take the water, allowing Marcus Rashford to join the party in the 30th.

In the 37th minute, Kane went on his "hat-trick", his third in the national team.

Chelsea nugget Tammy Abraham opened his counter in the national team and closed the score in the 84th, after a goal against his camp Sofranac (66th).

Wembley will host the semi-finals and final of the Euro-2020. Enough to give ideas to England, which has never won the continental competition.
