November 14, 2019The Anti-Mafia Investigative Directorate of Naples executed two seizure decrees signed by the court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, in the province of Caserta, against the brothers Franco and Sebastiano Minutolo, (currently detained), respectively of 52 and 50 years, deemed affiliated to the Belforte clan of Marcianise, and to Raffaele Piscitelli, 51, nicknamed "o Cervinese", also a prisoner, at the head of a homonymous criminal group dedicated to drug trafficking.

Specialized in "lace" and drugs
The Minutolo brothers' closeness to the Belforte clan emerged as part of a judicial case, settled with 2015 sentences (sentenced to 6 years and 8 months imprisonment) and 2016 (sentenced to 6 years imprisonment and fine of 6,000 euros) of the Court of Naples, in which it was found, also thanks to the declarations made by some collaborators of justice, a structured method of collecting the "lace" through their concrete producer, the "Co.Cem. srl. " The criminal mechanism devised by the two brothers, also called "the spies of the lace", occurred in two ways, or through invoicing increased by the amounts due, "inflating" the costs with respect to the actual supplies, to allow the creation of "slush funds" intended for to the payment of extortion, or through the organization of meetings between the extortions and members of the clan.

A tested "system"
The system was so tried and tested that entrepreneurs who started new businesses sometimes spontaneously turned to Minutolos, so that they could indicate the contacts of the organization to contact in order to "get in order".

The drug fiefdom
The second seizure decree was issued against Raffaele Piscitelli, burdened by numerous criminal proceedings, many of which ended with final convictions, dedicated to drug trafficking, mainly cocaine (also acquired abroad), which had its own "Fief" in the territory of San Marco Trotti, an urban agglomeration in the province of Caserta, between the municipalities of Santa Maria a Vico and San Felice a Cancello.

The accounts do not add up
The economic and patrimonial investigations, conducted by the Dia on the account of the Minutolo brothers and of the Piscitelli, have allowed to ascertain the consistent disproportions between their income abilities and the effective patrimonial and financial dispositions to them referable. the Dia seized several assets of the Minutolo brothers: 2 shares in companies and 5 companies (active not only in the construction and marketing of concrete sectors, but also in the entertainment, entertainment and clothing sectors) sports), 6 buildings in the municipality of Marcianise, 6 lands (one in the municipality of Cellole and the others in the Ruviano area), 1 car and 27 financial relationships, and the entire patrimony of Raffaele Piscitelli: 2 sole proprietorships, 11 buildings, a land and financial resources, for a total value estimated at over 2.5 million euros.
