15 May 2019 Marco Bonometti, president of Confindustria Lombardia and president of the Officine Meccaniche Rezzatesi based in the Brescia area, is under investigation for illicit financing in the maxi investigation of the Dda of Milan that eight days ago led to 43 precautionary measures. From what has been known, in Bonometti, who yesterday for hours was heard as a person informed about the facts and that for the investigators is close to Forza Italia environments, an illegal financing of about 30 thousand euros was then disputed.

Together with Marco Bonometti investigated Lara Comi. According to the magistrates, she is the recipient of the alleged illegal financing provided by the president of Confindustria Lombardia.

The thesis that would have been used to motivate the illegal financing of Lara Comi dates back to 2015, and could also be downloaded online. According to the prosecutors in Milan, the study would have been used to formally justify the consultancy.

Bonometti: "Never committed any wrongdoing"
"Never committed any wrongdoing". This is what is stated by Marco Bonometti, vice president of Confindustria Lombardia and president of OMR Holding in relation to journalistic indiscretions related to the investigation into bribes in Lombardy for which - he explains in a note - "was heard yesterday by the Milanese prosecutors as witnesses" .

Legal Comi: "No illegal financing"
"There was no reason whatsoever to prevent a completely lawful financing that could be carried out according to the procedures provided for by the law", writes lawyer Gian Piero Biancolella, who assists MEP Lara Comi.
