Two brothers, two and a half years old and three years old, have died as a result of the burning of a vehicle left inside the port area of Abu Dhabi. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Brigadier General Mohammed Suhail Al Rashidi, Director of the Criminal Security Sector in Abu Dhabi Police, said that the Command and Control Center in Operations Department received a report of the incident. To investigate the real causes behind the fire.
Al-Rashidi warned of the dangers of leaving children in vehicles on their own, pointing out that leaving them is a serious risk of death.
He stressed the keenness of Abu Dhabi Police to raise awareness for families and various segments of society, calling on parents to shoulder their responsibilities towards their children, to take safety precautions to reduce the accident of children in vehicles.
The Abu Dhabi Police expressed their regret over the incident and expressed their deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the family of the two children.
