The President of the UDPS, the Presidential Party, and current Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Jean-Marc Kabund, gathered his activists on Tuesday, 12 November. He warned his pro-Kabila coalition partners when there is currently a growing tension within the Cach-FCC coalition.

The UDPS calls for vigilance after the case of burned effigies Felix Tshisekedi. In Kinshasa, posters announcing a meeting of Joseph Kabila had been burned. In retaliation to Kolwezi, those of the current president were burned. As a result, the UDPS announced the suspension of talks between the new and the former head of state coalitions.

For its part, the president of the UDPS mobilizes his supporters. At four o'clock, he climbs onto the podium in front of activists who have been heated to a white light. They have been waiting for the president of their party since 6am. General Kabund, that's how they call him, asks the " fighters " of the UDPS to be vigilant: " Let's be on maximum alert ! Sometimes our partners act as partners, sometimes as adversaries. And other times we do not know if they are our partners or our adversaries .

He is speaking to the Common Front for Congo (FCC) of " partner " Joseph Kabila and warns him. He recalls that in Angola and South Africa , former heads of state or their entourage have been in legal trouble since they left power: " We must not let some nonsense and jokes push us to go poking around. ". This sentence is a reference to the promise of his moral authority, Felix Tshisekedi, to " not wander in the past " with respect to the management of the Kabila regime.
