According to him, the main tasks of the representative office for 2020 will be to develop the necessary bills for Crimean residents, adjust information policies, as well as strengthen relations with the population and protect the rights of Crimeans.

“We will really try to become the body that is developing the bills necessary for Crimea and Crimeans. Already there are certain developments. We will hope to spread it, ”his statement cites during a briefing in Kiev UNIAN.

In particular, such legislative initiatives will be aimed at combating the “discrimination” of the inhabitants of the peninsula.

The second important area of work, according to Korinevich, will be coverage of the topic of Crimea in the national media and support for cultural relations with residents.

“We understand that older citizens remember Ukraine, know Ukraine and have a connection with Ukraine. The sixth year of occupation is already underway, and in Crimea there are already children who may not know what Ukraine and the mother state are, ”he said.

Finally, Kiev’s third priority will be to address human rights issues in Crimea.

“It can be as assistance in obtaining a passport or temporary housing and other issues,” the representative of the Ukrainian president said.

Earlier in the Crimea, it was reported that about 50 thousand Ukrainians moved to the peninsula since its reunion with Russia.

Crimea became the Russian region after a referendum held there in March 2014, in which most residents spoke out for reunification with Russia.
