- Information came to us at 14.40 about a potentially dangerous object at the railway station. We took heed because it could be so and sent many resources there, including the bomb squad and a helicopter, says Evelina Olsson, press spokesperson for the police.

The junction was never evacuated, but police stopped people from entering the area during the course of the operation, to facilitate police work. Skånetrafiken and Scandlines were also informed.

- At 16.20, the effort was blown off and we made the assessment that the information on suspicious dangerous object as not credible, says Evelina Olsson.

No suspicious objects should have been found at the scene.
