A house search in the man's home found 850 grams of cocaine, reports P4 Sjuhärad.

The police caught sight of the man after a private person found a bag containing, among other things, a sawed-off shotgun in a stone pile. On the bag there were fingerprints that could be linked to the Home Guard soldier.

The man has denied the crimes. But Borås district court does not believe in his explanations. Among other things, the man has claimed that cocaine traces in his home must have been due to the family cat getting cocaine in the coat.

According to the Swedish Armed Forces, the man will not be allowed to continue in the home defense, writes Borås Tidning.
