"It's a betrayal to everyone"

Earlier on Wednesday, Aftonbladet reported on the criticism from police of the closure of the prostitution group in Stockholm.

Now Sweden's Women's Lobby is also criticizing the closure.

- It's a betrayal to everyone. There is nothing you can do between the lines while doing something else, says Clara Berglund, secretary general of Sweden's Women's Lobby.

The prostitution group is now part of the police's human trafficking section where prostitution is just one of the parts. But Clara Berglund believes that this way of working does not work when working against prostitution.

- Our experience is that a specific group focused on prostitution is the only thing that works. You have to have specific knowledge of how the sex industry looks and scout.
