“According to court documents, Burkov allegedly managed the Cardplanet website, which sold debit and credit card numbers stolen primarily by entering computers. Many of the cards offered for sale belonged to US citizens, ”the agency reports to RIA Novosti.

It is clarified that the damage from such activities, according to the Ministry of Justice of the United States, amounted to $ 20 million. If convicted, Burkov faces up to 80 years in prison.

Earlier, the US Department of Justice confirmed the extradition of Burkov from Israel to the United States.
