In a tweet released after his resignation and the political asylum granted him by Mexico, Morales published a photo that shows him on the floor on a blanket and thanked "the federations of the Tropic of Cochabamba". Meanwhile the plane that will take him to Mexico has arrived in Bolivia. "It hurts to leave the country for political reasons but I will soon return with more strength and energy," he assured.
