The Madrid City Council fines the lotters who install easels and traveling tables in Sol in application of the ordinance "which did not apply before", sources from the Municipal Center Board , chaired by José Fernández , have informed Europa Press.
In this way, and by virtue of the ordinance regulating the occupation of public roads, the lotters of the Puerta del Sol can no longer mount their easels if they do not want to be fined. What the City Council is looking for is to avoid obstacles in the surroundings of commercial establishments and at the entrances and exits of the Metro .
For his part, the mayor of the capital, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, has confirmed that all those who sell lottery without authorization on the street will be fined, after the ordinance "which was not applied before" is executed.
