“We are already used to the fact that we consider us interested in everything that happens in the world - poisoning in Salisbury, Brexit, Catalonia. We were recently mentioned in the context of the situation in Chile ... ”, - said Lavrov.

He said that he was pondering why Russia “is not mentioned in relation to events in Iraq, Lebanon and now in Bolivia.”

Lavrov noted that Russia "was not blamed for what is happening in Bolivia, and this is actually strange."

“Something is happening in the minds of those who usually create a geopolitical agenda,” the minister added.

Earlier, Bolivian President Evo Morales, Vice President Alvaro Garcia Linera, Senate Head Adriana Salvierrara and Senate First Deputy Speaker, as well as the head of the Chamber of Deputies, Viktor Borda, resigned.

The Russian Foreign Ministry called on all the political forces of Bolivia to find a legal way out of the crisis after the resignation of Morales.
