“In order to get away from the Minsk agreements, because they were originally enslaving conditions that we were forced to sign during Ilovaisk and Debaltsev. In order to get out of them, you need to switch to a different format, ”he said.
Arahamia added that Russia is satisfied with the Minsk agreements, while Ukraine needs "a different negotiation procedure involving more partners."
Earlier, the first president of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, proposed organizing a meeting between Putin and Zelensky. However, he said that the President of Ukraine has already given his consent.
The Kremlin later commented on Nazarbayev’s proposal.
