- It's really serious as I see it, when we know that those who then have a driver's license very often come up at those speeds. It is important to show that you can actually cope with the conditions that apply at that speed and even higher.

But can you not have a certain understanding that this is the case with the location of the office, that the speed has been reduced to 40 kilometers per hour on many distances in Uppsala and that the amount of traffic has increased in Uppsala in recent years?
- It doesn't sound reasonable. A factor such as placement - it must not be the basis for the driver's license tests not being carried out properly.
So you think the inspectors should do fewer than the nine tests done every day?
- Sounds reasonable, but I do not want to come with pointers here or there. The important thing is to find solutions so that the tests can be conducted in a road-safe manner.
The Swedish Transport Administration's unit manager Jan Einarsson tells SVT that the location of the office in Uppsala is a problem, and a reason why it is difficult to find.
But to do fewer tests, can't that be a solution?
- There is nothing I can decide on.
