During the years 2013-2016 a process was underway with the Australian mining company "Tasman metals" who wanted to drill for rare earth metals in the Olserum area. But neither the municipality nor the county administrative board wanted them to be sown.
The reason was mainly that there is also the radioactive substance uranium in the rock.
