The Qatari Ministry of Interior inaugurated the Qatar Visa Portal on Monday, as part of the facilitation of visitors wishing to come to Qatar.
This platform allows citizens to receive and track e-Visa services from all over the world, enabling them to visit Qatar and attend various events throughout the year. The platform will also cover business visas, investment and various other activities.
The launch of the portal aims to facilitate the application process for visitors, where the application form was designed to be easy and smooth not exceeding one page, and any user can fill it electronically and follow it from anywhere in the World over a very short time. The visa issuance does not exceed 48 hours from the date of receipt of the application to meet the required conditions.
Al-Mohannadi explained that the steps to apply include registration by e-mail, entering the application data, and attaching all required documents, and then choose the activity that the applicant wishes to follow within the country during the validity of the visa, which is estimated to be 30 days extendable. Al-Muhannadi revealed that the entry and exit traffic in Qatar is growing rapidly thanks to the many and varied programs that the country has been adopting, including enabling citizens of more than 80 countries to obtain immediate visas upon entering Hamad International Airport, making Qatar one of the most open countries in the world. .
