Ankara put its threat into effect by sending ISIS foreigners back to their country of origin. Twenty-five jihadists detained in Turkey are currently involved in this deportation procedure, but according to state television, the Turkish state plans to repatriate some 2,500 jihadists, most of them to European Union countries.
