I personally know in my district entrepreneurs who have suffered as a result of anti-Russian sanctions, up to bankruptcy. Moreover, in Thuringia alone 220 companies are engaged in trade with Russia, ”said Friesen.

According to him, in the eastern part of Germany, almost all parties, including the CDU and the Social Democrats, support lifting the sanctions against Russia. Only members of the Greens faction oppose.
