It is noted that patrolling will take place along a new route, which begins at the Sheyrek crossing point, will pass first in the west, and then continue eastward along the Syrian-Turkish border.

The total length of this route will be about 80 km.

As specified, patrolling is carried out on Tiger armored vehicles and BTR-80 armored personnel carriers of the Russian military police and Kirpi armored vehicles of the Turkish border service. In total, the patrol consists of eight units of military equipment and about 50 military personnel of both countries.

The unmanned aerial vehicle "Orlan-10" of the Russian military police will provide control of the movement of the column in real time.

The patrolling of the districts was initiated in accordance with the memorandum of understanding between the Russian and Turkish sides signed in Sochi on October 22.

On October 23, the Ministry of Defense presented an infographic with the main provisions of the memorandum of understanding between Russia and Turkey in Syria.
