Speaking about the ranking of the most drinking countries, in which Russia took the seventh line, Onishchenko noted that in Russia there really is a similar problem, indicating that the most destructive in this situation is the consumption of alcohol by the “northern type” by citizens.

He explained that in this case people rarely drink, mainly on weekends, but in large quantities.

“We have alcohol, which is not considered alcohol, but is sold. There is unaccounted alcohol, which is illegally produced by our factories. And, of course, all these sounding cynical offers to sell beer during sports competitions and turn our football matches into a massive drinking bout, ”Onishchenko said.

Earlier, the FAN, referring to the publication of the Organization for Economic Development and Cooperation OECD iLibrary, reported that residents of Russia on average drink 11.1 liters of alcohol per year.

In the corresponding rating, Russia ranked seventh, with Lithuania in the first position, whose inhabitants drink 12.3 liters of alcohol per year.
