November 11, 2019On new chaos and violence in Hong Kong, between demonstrators and police, in a morning marked by gunshots fired by an agent against protesters, one of whom was shot in the belly. The episode, which took place around eight in the morning, local time, was taken from a video of the cameras of a local media, Cupid Producer, and shows an agent with a gun in his hand blocking a young man at Sai Wan Ho, on the island of Hong Kong, and blows up a shot at another black-clad protester who was approaching, hitting him in the abdomen. Fallen, the young man tried to get up again, according to what is seen from the video, while two other protesters immediately headed towards the agent. The man fired two more pistol shots, at least one of them at eye level, after which one of the two demonstrators dressed in black fell to the ground. The camera then went on to shoot another scene of clashes between protesters and police.

The young man shot in the belly was admitted to the hospital and underwent surgery to remove the bullet. The 21-year-old man, the South China Morning Post reports, citing a source, left the operating theater shortly after midday, local time, and was admitted to intensive care.

The bullet, removed by surgery, would have hit the right kidney and the young man's liver. The police subsequently confirmed the wounding of a young man by a gunshot to Sai Wan Ho in a post on Facebook.

In another video circulated online, about an hour after the shootings on the protesters, we see an agent on the move targeting a few dozen people dressed in black who were walking down a road and mowing them at least three times before leaving.
In the last launch with the bike against the crowd, the agent hits several of them and, from the images taken from above, they see some fall to the ground, after being swept away.

The protesters had gathered in the morning today for a general strike throughout the city, blocking the roads to circulation, and causing inconvenience to motorists in several places.

Tensions in Hong Kong returned to flare after the news of the death of a twenty-two-year-old student, last Friday, fallen from an above-elevated parking lot during the night between Sunday and Monday, while a crowd-dispersal operation was underway by the police. The young man's death, Chow Tsz-lok, had been accompanied by controversy over alleged delays in relief, and his disappearance had been remembered by protesters and students last weekend with various initiatives.

The clashes between protesters and police continued even in the late morning, with the launch of Molotov cocktails by the former, and the use of pepper spray and tear gas by the police. During the lunch break, in Central, on the island of Hong Kong, the police launched at least five bursts of tear gas against the crowd after which the protesters took refuge in a shopping mall in the area, the Landmark.
