Erika Bjuhr in Sorsele started the business 15 years ago but this story begins long before that.

- My children had when they were small so severe fluid eczema that I had to wet them from the bed sheets, she says, who got softening and cortisone but felt that the children just itch even more.

She started reading table of contents and learning as much as possible.

- Then I rolled up my arms, started making my own cream and noticed a difference. That was the way it was, says Erika Bjuhr.

"Good that more and more people are becoming aware"

To a large extent, it has been about choosing certain chemicals, plastics, perfumes and oils, and now the industry's own compilation of the market situation made this year shows that sales of what is called organic skin care - are increasing.

- It's good that more and more people are becoming aware. This is where I strive to try to inform, because nobody decides for us, we have to find out what is good and bad for us, says Erika Bjuhr.

Small part of the market

But the proportion still known as organic is still small. According to the company Agrovektor, which made the report, based on a survey in the industry and in collaboration with Business Sweden, organic products constitute only five percent of the total cosmetics market which in 2017 amounted to SEK 22 billion in Sweden.
