In the Democratic Republic of Congo, skirmishes continue between supporters of the former and the new president. From Kinshasa to Lualaba, via social networks, activists on both sides are increasing acts of hostility, undermining the image of the ruling coalition.

Giant posters bearing the image of former President Joseph Kabila, for a rally scheduled for December 14 in Kinshasa, were destroyed just a stone's throw from the People's Palace, in the heart of the capital. The images, which circulated on social networks, have not gone without consequence.

Indeed, this weekend, more than 2,000 kilometers away, in Kolwezi, in the province of Lualaba, supporters of the former head of state, exasperated by the gesture of Kinois, have in turn put the fire with the effigy of the current president Felix Tshisekedi.

The two parties could consider themselves as quits, but in the staffs the tone is rising. For the presidential party, the UDPS, it is unacceptable that the president's person should suffer such outrage in the knowledge and knowledge of the authorities of the province of Lualaba, acquired from the former head of state. His number one, Jean-Marc Kabund, the vice president of the National Assembly announces, in a tweet, the cessation of all discussions between Cach de Félix Tshisekedi and the FCC Joseph Kabila until the responsibilities in this case be established.

If pro-kabila coalition coordinator Nehemiah Mwilanya appeals for appeasement in Kolwezi, FCC members call for resignation of provincial ministers from Cach's two main parties.
