Earlier, the IC of Russia opened a criminal case on the murder after a man was raised from the Moika River in St. Petersburg, in whose backpack lay two female hands and a traumatic gun.
Oleg Sokolov, Associate Professor of St. Petersburg State University, is suspected of murder.
Later, lawyer Alexander Pochuev said that Sokolov confessed to the murder of the girl and issued a confession.
