In Halland there are 187 nature reserves and more are added every year. With the help of visitor counters along hiking trails in thirteen selected nature reserves, the county administrative board can ascertain that the number of visitors to the reserve is becoming more and more - and in fact, the hallways move more in nature than the Swede on average.
The calculator is placed in a place in the reserve where the county administrative board considers that they can get as accurate a figure as possible of the number of people who have been in the area.
- People move a lot in the reserves. It is very fun that more people discover the fun of moving in nature, ”says Conradin Weindl.
