Bush fires in Australia are still under control. Three people have already died on the east coast of the country. More than 100 homes are still active. And the fires could even get worse in the coming days because of bad weather conditions. This is what the authorities fear in any case.

Forecasts are not good: high temperatures, low humidity and high winds are expected in the areas affected by the fire. Shane Fitzsimmons, fire chief for New South Wales is not optimistic.

" We are particularly concerned about the weather conditions that are expected in much of New South Wales. These conditions are worse than those we have had in recent days in New South Wales. And not only will they be worse, but these poor conditions will also affect a larger part of New South Wales , "he said.

Firefighters fear that fires will spread faster and directly threaten the lives of people in populated areas such as Sydney. New South Wales and Queensland, the two states affected by bush fires, have already put in place significant resources. More than 1,300 firefighters are mobilized, they fight against the flames with the air support of almost 40 aircraft. Other Australian states as well as New Zealand have promised to send back-up teams.

" At one o'clock in the morning, there are 64 fires across the country, 37 are not yet controlled, " says on his Twitter account, NSW RFS fire fighting service.

At 1:00 am there are 64 fires burning across the state, with 37 yet to be contained. 12 fires continues to burn at the Watch and Act alert level.
