Australia equalized to 2 all over France in the Fed Cup final after the success of its N.2 Ajla Tomljanovic ahead of France's Pauline Parmentier 6-4, 7-5 Sunday in Perth in the fourth singles.

Place now in the decisive double between Ashleigh Barty, World No. 1 in singles, and Samantha Stosur to Kristina Mladenovic and Caroline Garcia.

Earlier, France took the lead to lead 2-1 after the victory of the French N.1 Kristina Mladenovic (40th) ahead of Barty 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7/1).

In the fourth single, which could have given the decisive point to France, the French captain Julien Benneteau has chosen to replace Garcia (45) by Parmentier (122) to face Tomljanovic (51).

At the end of the first day Saturday, both teams were tied for a win.

Mladenovic easily dominated Tomljanovic 6-1, 6-1.

Barty had, she, a mouthful of Garcia, unable to register any game (6-0, 6-0).
