• Spain returns to the polls: socialist-popular duel, but the extreme right of Vox looms

November 10, 2019The first exit polls released by Spanish television see the Socialist Party (PSOE) lead with 114-119 seats, but down compared to previous consultations (123), ahead of the People's Party (PP) up with 85-90 ( they had 66), in the second early parliamentary elections this year.

Third force becomes the extreme right of Vox, which gets a great success and reaches 56-59 seats (there were 24), while Podemos has a further drop with 30-34 deputies (42) and Ciudadanos collapses to 14-15 seats ( 57).
