The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has confirmed the availability of public transportation services, pointing out that it has taken a decision to stop the maritime transport service between Al Ghubaiba stations in Dubai and Sharjah Aquarium in a precautionary manner between 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
In response to a question to the UAE today, the RTA noted that bus lines and public transport were not affected by the weather, adding that bus services were provided to connect Al Ghubaiah and Sharjah water parks during the interruption of Al Ferry service.
The Abra service on Dubai Creek has also been suspended for a short period of time when the rains are high, and the bus line between Dubai and Abu Dhabi has been suspended from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm for the safety of passengers.
