The difference between the Conservatives and the opposition Labor Party has narrowed this week as the campaign for the December 12 general election intensifies.

The poll showed that the opposition Labor Party led by Jeremy Corbin narrowed the difference with the Conservative Party led by Prime Minister Boris Johnson by four percentage points.

In the poll conducted by the opinion polls agency for the British Observer newspaper, the ruling Conservative Party received 41% of the support, down 1% from the previous poll conducted a week ago.

By contrast, Labor gained three percentage points to garner 29% support.

The Conservatives won 42 percent of the vote compared to 26 percent for Labor in a poll last week, according to Bloomberg News.

Support for the Liberal Democrats (third place) dropped to 15%, followed by the Brexit (6%) and the Scottish National Party (5%).

The online survey was conducted on a sample of 2001 adults in the UK from 6 to 8 November.
