For the government of Aristides Gomes, sacked by the president but supported by the international community, Ecomib contributes to the security and stability of the country. On the other hand, it is much criticized by the opposition candidate of MADEM Umaro Sissoko Embalo, and by the Prime Minister appointed by the president , who has just resigned: for Faustino Imbali, Ecomib has become an " occupation force " . A mission of the chiefs of staff of ECOWAS is expected in Bissau in the coming days.
