A week after a humiliation in Frankfurt (5-1) and the dismissal of coach Niko Kovac, Bayern Munich completely metamorphosed outclassed Borussia Dortmund 4-0 on Saturday, with a new double by Robert Lewandowski.

This victory with the way in the 11th day of the Bundesliga, three days after qualifying for the 8th finals of the Champions League, will give credit to the interim coach "Hansi" Flick. And the blow of the respite to the leaders, less under pressure to find a new coach.

In the standings, the Bavarian club temporarily returns to a point of the leader Mönchengladbach, who can however resume a little Sunday at home against Bremen. Dortmund, who was dominated in commitment, pace, envy and play, retreated to fifth, tentatively three points from the leader and two from Bayern.

The supremacy over the German football does not suffer any discussion: Dortmund has been humiliated during his last three trips in the league at the Allianz Arena: 6-0 in 2018, 5-0 last April, and therefore 4-0.

- Mentality of warriors -

Cannibal Lewandowksi scored his 15th and 16th goals (1-0, 17th and 3-0, 76th) in 11 Bundesliga days. Gnabry doubled the start in the second period (2-0, 47th). And Mats Hummels, under pressure, scored against the goal of the knockout in the 80th minute (4-0).

The two coaches "Hansi" Flick and Lucien Favre, in certain quests, had renewed for this match at very high stakes exactly the teams that had won this week in the Champions League.

Against a rather formidable training Olympiakos, Bayern Wednesday had imposed without panache 2-0. Dortmund had on Tuesday managed against Inter Milan, in front of his audience, one of his reversals that made his legend (3-2 after being led 2-0).

But after Lewandowski's first goal, Bayern seemed to find himself over the minutes. If the unfortunate Kovac watched the match, he did not recognize his players. His former deputy Flick dismissed Thiago and Coutinho from the team, and insisted on Bayern's historic values, foremost among which was the warrior mentality.

- The Wenger Mystery -

The recipe was successful. The Rekordmeister, where the 19-year-old Canadian prospect Alphonso Davies and Kingsley Coman shone in particular, martyred Dortmund.

The BVB shot a goal once (against 17 for Bayern!), And was constantly struggling to get out. The Yellow and Black have abused long balls, too often lost in touch or directly in the feet of Bayern defenders.

The premature exit after 36 minutes of Jadon Sancho, the wisp of the attack, weighed heavily. Especially as the captain and attack leader Marco Reus, who is sick, only entered the hour of play, while the score was already 2-0.

This triumph however will not solve the coach's question. Friday, the 70-year-old Frenchman Arsene Wenger said he was approached by Bayern boss Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and agreed to a new telephone appointment within the week. But these remarks contradict a Bayern communication claiming that the former Arsenal coach "is not an option".

Bayern had absolutely not communicated until Saturday to explain this contradiction.

In other matches, the RB Leipzig impressed with a 4-2 victory against Hertha in Berlin to finish second, thanks to a better goal difference than Bayern. The RB has scored 20 goals in four matches in all competitions.
