Paris (AP) - The British rock singer Pete Doherty has to pay a fine of 5,000 euros for drug sales. He had violated the Narcotics Act and was sentenced to 100 daily rates of 50 euros, confirmed the French prosecutor in Paris. The singer of the indie band Babyshambles and The Libertines had been arrested on Friday night in the French capital. At the time of his arrest in Pigalle district, he was under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Doherty came earlier because of his addiction in the headlines.
