"In accordance with the latest directions, American expects that the resumption of scheduled commercial maintenance of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, part of the American fleet, will occur on March 5, 2020," the statement said.
The company emphasized that they are in constant contact with the Federal Aviation Administration, the US Department of Transportation and Boeing.
