09 November 2019A 56-year-old man from Gela, Orazio Curvà, owner of a trucking company, died following a work accident that occurred late yesterday afternoon in the Pietra Fucile district in Ravanusa, a town in the province of Agrigento .The man, according to the reconstructions of the police station of Licata that is taking care of the investigations, while he was stationed near an industrial shed used for the trade of cereals, was hit by a tractor.
The man was immediately taken to the emergency room of the "San Giacomo d'Altopasso" hospital in Licata where the doctors did everything to save him. However, gelese has expired due to the crushing of the chest.
The man who was driving the wheeled tractor in reverse was entered in the register of suspects. It is a twenty-seven year old from Camastra (Ag). The hypothesis of a crime, for which he was registered, is manslaughter. For the Procura della Repubblica of Agrigento this is a consequential deed.
