The final stretch of the trial for the crime of the widow of former CAM president Vicente Sala is being as intense as the four weeks that the hearing lasted .

It seemed that the jury would close the matter late on Friday night but it was not so, despite already having its verdict. However, the vague motivation that the members of the non-professional court gave to their decision on the edge of ten o'clock on Friday night, motivated the magistrate-president, Francisca Bru , to return it to remedy the deficiencies she found when she He had ahead.

The judge explained that with these bases she could not put a sentence that of such hardness since it implies a sentence of 24 years in prison for Miguel López, the only one accused of the death of his mother-in-law, the widow of the former president of the CAM Vicente Room. After four intense weeks of trial, the decision of the non-professional court was most likely to blame López .

The decision of the six women and three men who make up the non-professional court lacked nuclear elements to tie a verdict of such consequences for the accused. The magistrate did not see it clearly and called an audience with the jury and the parties - defense and accusations - to let them know. In that meeting, for which López's presence was not required, moments of tension between the parties were experienced.

The jury gave validity to the proof of charge and did not value the proof of discharge , which supports the innocence of the accused person, but did not abound in why he took that path.

In addition, in other questions of the object of the verdict he provided ambiguous arguments that made it impossible, in Bru's opinion, to write a conviction . For this reason, the verdict returned, urging them to be more precise after having heard all the testimonies that have passed through the Chamber during these four weeks and having been deliberating for more than 12 hours, since noon last Thursday.

The jury returned to the hotel for the night. From the early hours of the morning of this Saturday, the members of the popular court are polishing their decision to, again, hand it over to the magistrate.
