In Sweden, people who think differently have got to meet, listen and talk about social issues. It has been about everything from petrol, gender equality and wolves.

- We hope to give the participants the opportunity to meet someone who thinks differently and listen to that person's argument. But We also want to tell you something about Sweden. Starting with seven issues, we have published lots of facts and news journalism from all over the country.

Exceeding expectations - despite the criticism

The project has previously been criticized for giving voice to people with extreme opinions who express themselves hatefully on social media or that the whole venture is based on an often formulated assumption: that polarization is increasing in Sweden - something that Program Director Jan Helin answered in an earlier article. When Kristian Lindquist looks back at the project, he is satisfied with it.

- It has exceeded expectations. Journalistically, we have highlighted several difficult social issues from a multitude of perspectives and from across the country. And the audience's response has been very positive. Thousands of people have signed up to join, he says.

Last chance now to sign up, why should you do it?

- It's a choice you have to make yourself. But we hope that those who have registered will find it rewarding to meet a person who feels different. Whether it leads to a greater understanding of the opinion of others or to one's being further strengthened in one's own opinion.
