Three years ago, over half of the ninth graders at Hagsätraskolan were unauthorized to the upper secondary school. This spring, three out of four students were eligible for upper secondary education.

Anna Mossegård is a teacher at Hagsätraskolan, a school which, with its 800 students, is one of the largest primary schools in the outer city. During her 20 years at school she has seen how it has changed and she describes how study motivation has increased in recent years.

- We have more curators, school psychologists and staff who have worked specifically for the nine for two years and that has helped us, says Anna Mossegård.
