SVT Uppsala asked three important questions to the politicians:

Government subsidies

In order to reduce the queues for child and adolescent psychiatry, the Uppsala region received almost 14 million extra grants from the state this summer. But SVT's review shows that part of the money is used to finance the job that BUP already does and has money for.

Private care

BUP has had a hard time shortening the care queues. Now private psychotherapists are being assisted - in a political initiative during the autumn.

The government may want to see more results behind the extra money that BUP receives for shortening the queues, think Sweden's municipalities and county councils, SKL. The reason is that the money so far has not led to any improvement.
