Last week, the government decided that six radical Islamists should be expelled from the country, as Säpo classifies them as security threats. Despite the decision, the men have been released - because of the situation in their home countries. It has led the opposition to sharply criticize the government. Johan Forssell (M), a spokesperson for legal politics, describes it as "unreasonable" that the six men are now allowed to roam freely in society.

- If it is not an accident or scandal, then I do not know what it is, he says in a debate against Interior Minister Mikael Damberg in Thursday's News.

Criticism against the Moderates: "Plays theater"

Damberg points out that the court made a decision that means that the deportation cannot be enforced - that the government cannot violate the law.

- I mean that Johan Forssell and the Moderates play theater - they pretend that it can be done in some other way, but it can't. Neither with Swedish law nor with the international commissions signed by Sweden, says Mikael Damberg.

Johan Forssell believes that the government should have passed new legislation earlier.

- If you had done something when Säpo sounded alarm in March 2017, these security threats would not have been able to move out in the community. Then we would not have had this hug party we see now. It is actually your responsibility.

The Minister of the Interior answers:

- You have made announcements from your parties where there were no requirements not to leave the European Commission on human rights. Or it is the case that Swedish legislation applies.
