The resignation of Finance Minister Nayef Al-Hajraf was accepted by an Emiri decree, the official KUNA news agency reported.
The agency added that another decree was issued to appoint Maryam Al-Aqeel as Acting Minister of Finance in addition to her work as Minister of Economic Affairs.
Sources had revealed to Al-Qabas a few days ago that Al-Hajraf is heading to resign from the Ministry of Finance.
