Rennes and Saint-Etienne, the last of their Europa League groups, will aim for Thursday a first saving victory on the fourth day, while Sevilla FC and Arsenal can continue their flawless after a phase gone aree of three victories.

Still looking for a first victory in the competition, Rennes and Stephanois, who have respectively one and two points, need a win to boost their meager chances of qualifying for the round of 32.

For the Bretons, the trip to Cluj, Romania, looks dangerous: the first leg at Roazhon Park at the end of October ended in a rout for the men of Julien Stephan, reduced to 10 after 5 minutes and 9 all the second period, and finally beat 1-0.

A Rennes defeat on Thursday, combined with a Glasgow Celtic win or draw against Lazio Rome, would mean elimination.

For its part, Saint-Etienne is unlikely to be out of the race Thursday night, but the trip to the Ukrainians Oleksandriïa can be trapping after 1-1 on the way to France. Impeccable for more than a month in the league (4 wins and a draw in the last five games), the Greens have a different face on the European level.

Trajectory totally opposite for Arsenal and Sevilla FC, who will try to chain a fourth victory in as many meetings.

Arsenal are moving on Wednesday on the lawn of Vitoria Guimaraes, Portugal, the only team of Group F still blocked at zero point.

But the Londoners suffered in the first leg: led 1-0 and 2-1, they avoided a home defeat only thanks to two missiles on a free kick Nicolas Pépé late in the game.

Since then, the Gunners are struggling in England, with two draws against Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton in the league and an elimination in the League Cup against Liverpool after a crazy game (5-5, 5-4 on penalties) .

The task is easier for Sevilla FC, which will play Thursday at Luxembourg's Dudelange. In late October, the Andalusians opened the scoring in the 48th minute but ended up winning 3-0 against their opponents on Thursday night. A victory would qualify them for the round of 32.

Also watching are Manchester United (home against Partizan Belgrade) and AS Roma (Mönchengladbach), who have not been impressed since the start of the competition, but are ahead of their respective groups.
