In 2017, he had chosen to withdraw from national politics and the party Republicans (LR). "I did my time," said Baroin two years ago, almost to the day. Last month, the elected LR has yet reinstated the party, now chaired by Christian Jacob, joining his strategic committee.
"I do not have politics in my blood"
"I started politics very young," said the former Minister of Economy at the microphone of L'Equipée sauvage , on Europe 1, to justify his choice of the time. A journalist on Europe 1 in his early days, François Baroin started his political career in 1989. "There are many who speak for me"
