The ministry explained to Emirates Today that it is dealing with health announcements, based on the Council of Ministers' Resolution No. (7) of 2007 on the health advertising system, which obliges each party wishing to advertise any health service provided within the state, the need to obtain the approval of the ministry , As a prerequisite for broadcasting the ad to the public.

The ministry confirmed the presence of inspectors working around the clock, in coordination with local health authorities, their task of checking and monitoring the ads, and take legal action in the event of any violation.

An advertisement video promoting cosmetic surgery among men has aroused great dissatisfaction among social media pundits who criticized the promoters of such advertisements, especially as the advertisement showed an improper boy inside a beauty center, contrary to the values ​​and traditions of the UAE society.

The advertisement, which was published by one of the beauty clinics in the country, received angry reactions from all segments of society, demanding the concerned authorities to apply the maximum penalties towards those responsible, and considered it contrary to the values ​​and customs of the UAE society.
