05 November 2019Two firefighters died and another is missing following the explosion of a portion of an apparently abandoned building in Quargnento, in the province of Alessandria. A carabiniere extracted from the rubble alive. According to preliminary information, the incident occurred around 2 am tonight. The firemen had intervened after a first explosion, probably due to a gas leak, which had caused part of the building to collapse.
