The United Arab Emirates (UAE) welcomed the Riyadh agreement signed by the Yemeni government and the Southern Transitional Council, affirming its support for everything that serves the interests of the brotherly Yemeni people and contributes to its stability and security.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation praised the wisdom of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who played a pivotal role in bringing the Yemeni parties to the dialogue table, and the completion of this important agreement, which enhances the efforts of various Yemeni components to face the threats and threats targeting Yemen.

The statement praised the positive and constructive role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the Yemeni arena, where the Kingdom is a fundamental pillar of national and Arab national security.

He stressed the importance of the Yemeni forces joining hands and cooperating with the supreme national interest to face the dangers facing Yemen, especially the Houthi coup.

The statement called for concerted efforts of the international community to support Yemen during the coming period and support its stability and contribute to building its economy.

The UAE renewed its commitment to stand by the Yemeni people and support their legitimate aspirations for development, security and peace, within the framework of its policy in support of all the interests of the peoples of the region.

She praised the alliance of the firmness led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its role in maintaining the security, stability and prosperity of the region, renewing its commitment to this blessed partnership and this good alliance.
