The Paris Stock Exchange, which is at its highest for 12 years in recent days, continued to nibble (+ 0.27%) Tuesday at midday, thanks in particular to a positive business climate.

At 13:32 (12.32 GMT), the index gained 15.84 points to 5,840.14 points. The day before, it ended up 1.08%.

The Parisian coast remained anchored in balance a good part of the morning before becoming bolder.

For its part, Wall Street was preparing to start up. The index futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average index rose 0.26%, the broad-based S & P 500 index 0.23% and the Nasdaq, strong technological color, 0.28%.

"The Paris index has gained more than 23% since the beginning of the year.The cyclicals are benefiting from the decline in the main risks that have been shaking the markets for the past few months," said Tangi Le Liboux, a strategist of the broker Aurel BGC, in wondering, however, "if the progression could continue on the same rhythm".

- Air France-KLM penalized -

In the field of stocks, Air France-KLM sank 5.92% to 9.94 euros after a presentation of strategic and financial priorities that provides an improvement in the profitability of the group in the next five years, but was received coldly by investors.

On the contrary, Teleperformance gained 3.24% to 210.60 euros, benefiting from a 25.6% increase in revenue in the third quarter, to 1.35 billion euros, and an increase in its objectives. for the current year, for the second consecutive quarter.

In this more confident environment, the mining industry was on a roll. Eramet jumped 4.94% to 50.18 euros and ArcelorMittal 2.13% to 14.89 euros.

Vicat dropped from 0.91% to 38 euros. The cement company saw its turnover jump 8% to 719 million euros in the third quarter, mainly due to a positive scope effect related to an acquisition.

Bonduelle rose 2.30% to 24.50 euros, while the revenue of the agri-food group has increased very modestly (+ 0.3%) in the first quarter of its offset year 2019-20.
