During yesterday evening, police received several calls from people in Ölme who were concerned about an unknown person walking around the area trying to sell something.
"You get worried that it's something other than a legal matter," says Stefan Wickberg, press officer at the Police in the Bergslagen region.
After a while, the police received a call from a 20-year-old who was selling telephone subscriptions in the area. He states that a man fired a shot when he was at the man's home. Several police officers then go to the scene and check the information.
- At present everything indicates that a shot has been fired. It does not appear that a shot was fired against anyone, says prosecutor Henrik Kindwall Lindell.
Otherwise, police and prosecutors record the incident.
No person should have been physically injured.
